Catersource 2017: 25th Anniversary Conference in New Orleans
I had the honor of speaking at Catersource’s 25th Anniversary in New Orleans, which was an amazing event that touched all five senses. I have always been inspired and enamored with the creativity and resourcefulness of those in the catering industry. Seeing it up close was a sight to behold! You’ll have to excuse the iPhone pictures and videos– definitely wanted to share my experience if you missed it on social media.
I spoke on 7 Steps to Yes: Proposals for the High End Bride and also had the opportunity to sit on amazing presentations from the incomparable Sasha Souza, Jeffrey Selden and Robin Selden of Marcia Selden Catering, David Merrell of AOO Events and David Everett of The JDK Group.
CORT Furniture had an amazing lounge adorned with candles, lush florals, boxwood and fur. It was phenomenal.
Got to have dinner with phenomenal “framily” Straton Hall Events and new friends from Blue Elephant Catering and Alan Berg.
Monday night’s party was divine– it was like walking into an alternate reality of food, music and libation. There were so many innovative stations I could not wait to try everything! From s’mores on clothespins to cheese from a nitrogen bar, there was so much to see and more importantly — EAT! We were met at the door with these delicious neon signature cocktails that were everything.
As you can see, it was an extraordinary time of learning, eating and networking! I had an unbelievable time and learned so much. If you’re ever considering attending Catersource, I definitely recommend it.
