My path to the wedding industry? Let’s just say it was a plot twist worthy of Game of Thrones. From dreams of being a doctor (Dr. Terrica…it had a nice ring, right?) to a detour through the legal world, I finally found my true calling: celebrating love and empowering other wedding pros. Turns out, my superpower is orchestrating flawless celebrations and helping others build thriving businesses.
As a Scorpio, I bring passion and intensity to everything—from crafting timelines to belting out yacht rock, vintage jazz (Billie Holiday, Sinatra, the whole crew), and still bumping 90’s R&B and Hip Hop. Eclectic, I know. When I’m not immersed in weddings, you can find me lost in Old Hollywood glamour or living for the drama of RuPaul’s Drag Race. One thing it has all taught me is:

As a speaker, educator, and coach, I’m the hype friend who’s always ready with a pep talk (or a well-timed “honey, no”), reminding you of your own damn magic. I bring the same dedication I would have brought to the operating room or courtroom, but with way more glitter and good vibes. I believe every wedding pro can create a thriving business they love, and I’m here to help them unlock it..

I’m deep in the trenches, working with wedding pros just like you to build businesses that are both profitable and fulfilling. Between growing Wedding Pro University, coaching my incredible clients, and speaking at industry events, I’m also super excited about some upcoming projects, including game-changing workshops, transformative retreats, and done-for-you marketing blueprints to help you attract your ideal clients.
And of course, continuing my important work to uplifting underrepresented groups in the industry as an advisory board member, mentor and educator for Wedding Pro’s Fellowship for Change program, sitting on the board of Aisle Planner’s Diversity Committee and Black Women in Weddings.

I started my wedding planning company in a new area and very little resources and experience. I’ve poured my heart and soul into building Cocktails & Details®, a sought-after wedding planning firm, and launching The White Lounge, a virtual concierge service connecting couples and pros. These experiences have shaped my vision: to elevate the wedding industry through education, community, and unwavering support.
With over twenty years of experience and accolades like being a nominee for NACE’s Speaker of the Year Award, I’ve had the honor of speaking at prestigious conferences such as Wedding MBA, Catersource, Destination Wedding Planners Congress and NACE Experience, sharing my knowledge with thousands of wedding pros.
