Somewhere along the way, women in business got han Somewhere along the way, women in business got handed a very short menu. Be serious or be fun. Be pretty or be smart. Be the one who works or the one who rests. Pick a lane and stay in it.

I have never once picked a lane. I am the strategist and the woman taking a selfie in an elevator. I am the one telling you the hard truth and the one laughing so hard she has to hold on to something. Twenty-one years in this industry and every version of me is still on payroll.

You are allowed to be all of it.

Tag a woman who refuses to pick a lane.

I did every job in my business for twenty-one year I did every job in my business for twenty-one years because there was nobody else to do them.

Not because I was a martyr about it. Because hiring meant a salary I could not commit to in a business where January looks nothing like June. So I was the strategist and the assistant and the one writing captions at eleven at night, and I got very good at some of it and stayed bad at the rest, and the parts I was bad at quietly cost me money for years.

That is the actual reason Wedding Pro HQ exists. Not because AI is having a moment. Because the gap between doing everything yourself and hiring an actual person has been empty this entire time, and everybody in this industry has been standing in it.

Vivienne handles the morning. Zara handles the visibility. Neither one needs onboarding, benefits, or a slow month you have to explain.

The first process document I ever wrote sat in a f The first process document I ever wrote sat in a folder for nine months and did absolutely nothing for me.

I did what everyone says to do. Wrote out the steps, saved it, felt organized for about a day. Then busy season hit and I never opened it once, because it was in a drive I only visited when I was looking for something else, and half the steps were vague enough that I still had to think.

A process document is not a to-do list you wrote in advance. It is instructions for a version of you who is tired, behind, and not thinking clearly. If it does not work for her, it does not work.

That is why the four things on these slides matter more than the writing itself. Location, specificity, triggers, and whether it makes sense to anyone but you.

Save this and run the test on the one process you already wrote.

There is no professional way to explain that the timeline or my attitude was not built for a heat index of 108. We adjust anyway. We always do.

Not all money is good money. I am of service. I a Not all money is good money.

I am of service. I am not a servant. There is a difference, and some clients find it the hard way.

I have written that check. More than once. Every time I got the money out of my life and got my peace back with it, and the peace was worth more.

You are allowed to decide a client is costing you more than they are paying you. That is not failure. That is math.
