L.A., you were a whole vibe. This trip for @cstse L.A., you were a whole vibe.

This trip for @cstse_show was quick… but it filled my cup in all the right ways.

Old Hollywood moments, a little sparkle, a lot of laughter — and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.

I got to:

• walk the red carpet like a classic starlet
• sit on a panel with @katiemast__, @kevinmdennis , and @kirstenpalladino talking about parenting in the event industry (and yes… I was the only non-K 😅)
• teach pros how to get booked from Instagram
• and how to set proper boundaries for successful event day production
• eat my weight in candied bacon (no regrets)
• groove to a Rick James & Teena Marie tribute band
• see @chrisevansevents and the board’s vision for opening night come to life — truly immersive
• finally attend a @dj_dazzler party (bucket list ✔️)
• take candy from strangers (because… why not)
• cheer on @jamieleequickert & @deeleedesigns in the tabletop challenge
• go into a full food coma at @fixinssoulkitchen with friends
• celebrate @merylsnow and @davidemerrell_official and their well-deserved recognition
• have a family dinner with my nearest and dearest (except the jerk next to me 😂)
• and of course… find a life-size Selena portrait on the street (y’all already know 💃🏽)

And somewhere in between all of that… I had a moment to just enjoy it.

Grateful for the rooms I’m in, the people I get to do life and business with, and the moments that remind me why I love this industry so much.

Hope your weekend looks a little like this too —
good food, good people, and a whole lot of fun.

They don’t negotiate.

They show them what is available within their range.

That might be a smaller bag.
A wallet.
A different entry point.

But the standard doesn’t change.

And your business should operate the same way.

Your job is not to make your pricing fit someone else’s budget.

Your job is to:
	•	be clear about what you offer
	•	be honest about what it costs to deliver it well
	•	and offer aligned options—not discounts

Because the moment you start adjusting your value to close the gap…

you create confusion, inconsistency, and expectations you can’t sustain.

Pause. Then pivot.

Not discount.
